You are here to enable the divine purpose of the Universe to unfold. That is how important you are!’
~ Eckhart Tolle
There are times in each of our lives when we feel like there are things beyond our control that we’re trying to identify.
These feelings stay with us throughout our lives, and most of the time, we are unaware that we have a greater purpose.
The saddest part is that most people would rather live their mundane lives without any exciting new experiences rather than move forward, take chances, go on adventures, find new places, and make new connections.
For some reason, they’re not attracted to this stuff. Perhaps they are too busy or they just don’t want to. Either way, the point is that we should realize our potential, which will enable us to aim even higher.
Here are 7 signs that can help you determine whether or not you are destined for something greater in this world:
1. You can’t say how you know certain things, you just do
Visionaries don’t get their visions from the outside world or from what people tell them. Their visions come from an inner transmission to create what seems most natural to them.
This “knowledge” about the things they should create gives meaning and value in the universe. You could call it intuition, you could call it having a deep conviction, you could call it whatever you want.
If, however, you are destined for great things, then that knowledge will continue to come forward and tell you what it wants. So creating great things is inevitable when it’s meant for you.
2. You’re an idealist
You are an idealist, so you try to look at the bright side of things no matter what happens, even though you acknowledge that the world can be unpredictable.
There will be times in your life when you will likely feel powerless and unable to control anything around you. Nevertheless, even though things are a little bit chaotic, you can still see the bright side somewhere in the middle of this catastrophe.
People often look to you for new ideas to improve everyone’s future.
3. You love what you do so much that you can do it for free
It’s ironic. You deserve to know your worth, and the more you start to embed your true value for all the contributions you make to the world, the more you’ll attract that added value.
However, you love what you do so much that making money is the last thing on your mind. This is a sign you’re destined for great things.
4. You’re compassionate
You are a very passionate person and tend to help others for free, especially if it is related to one of your passions. What you love in life is priceless in your eyes, and so you offer your help for nothing in return.
You have already accomplished your goal of inspiring the world around you simply by making other people happy and introducing them to new and fascinating experiences.
5. You’re empathetic
You can pick up on other people’s emotions as well as the emotions of the entire world. Being able to understand and analyze all of these feelings simultaneously is often challenging.
There are so many ideas running through your head that you feel completely overwhelmed. Nevertheless, you’re there for your friends and the planet when they need you most.
6. You’re waiting for inspiration
You find that you often drop or abandon projects halfway through their completion. You haven’t finished them not because you don’t want to, but because you’re waiting for the right time or the right source of inspiration to rekindle your creative side once more.
You strive for absolute perfection. You give everything you do a lot of thought and care. This leads to incredible works of art!
7. You’re self-employed
You hate working for other people. It’s not because you don’t want to, but rather because you believe your skills could be put to better and more important use elsewhere.
This can leave you feeling disappointed at the end of the day because you know you could have contributed to the world in a much more meaningful way.
It just takes a little bit of time to really understand that we are all a part of something much bigger than ourselves!
Last Words
If we are willing to listen to the restlessness of our soul, I believe that each and every one of us is destined to accomplish wonderful things in this life.
When we let go of the idea of “perfect timing” and acknowledge that it is impossible to be “too late” for something, it is much easier to make room for this reality to rise from the depths and manifest itself.
Be not afraid of greatness. Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and others have greatness thrust upon them.
~ William Shakespeare
